Journey at Home Day 52

A few days ago I attended a webinar on the future of work and education. Moderated by Ron Brownstein, Senior Editor of The Atlantic, it featured:
Wendy Kopp, CEO and Co-founder of Teach For All (shown above, image courtesy of Wikipedia)
Rachel Carlson, CEO and Co-founder of Guild Education
Saadia Zahidi, Managing Director, World Economic Forum (shown below, image courtegy of Wikipedia)
Larry Summers, Peterson Institute for International Economics (also the former U.S. Treasury Secretary)

The webinar was a wonderful change from the White House rants and the constant death statistics in the news. I learned about K-12 education around the world, the issues of students in higher education, how problems in the work force vary by sector, and the economic challenge we face. It would be impossible to summarize all the thoughtful discussion on the current situation and indicators for the future. Instead, I encourage you to check out the recordings and sign up for the other webinars in the series.
The series is sponsored by:
Emerson Collective, a social change organizations founded and run by Laurene Powell Jobs
Chatham House, an independent policy institute based in London
Peterson Institute for International Economics, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization
