There are forty six countries or dependencies in the world whose entire population is less that today’s USA COVID-19 cases. Liechtenstein, Monaco, Greenland, Andorra, and Bermuda are just a few (see https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/population-by-country/). Four US territories also have populations that come in well under today’s new COVID-19 cases—Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands. This is the most new COVID-19 cases in one day that we’ve had since the pandemic was recognized last March.
