Journey at Home Day 65
Magnum is a cooperative of photographers founded in 1947. Their members are some of the best photojournalists and documentary photographers in the world. This week I am studying documentary photography, so I went to their website to see what their members have been up to.
Diary of a Pandemic is just one of the projects that's in progress. It is a weekly series with contributions from their members around the world. Each photo is accompanied by a bit of text that describes what the photographer is experiencing in their part of the world. This photo is from this week's diary. It was taken by Stuart Franklin in West Middlesex Hospital, U.K., on the day with the highest death toll—980. Some photos are grim, like this one, but others show a slice of life outside the hospital. Its worth checking out.
