The Los Gatos-Saratoga branch of the Association of University Women has an Armchair Adventure Travel special interest group. The first Friday of each month, members listen to the exploits of someone who has ventured out of their armchair into the world. Today, Glen and I are the featured presenters. I will present our images from our recent Great Bear Rainforest trip. (Glen doesn't like to present, but he does like to prepare images to show others.)
My aim with this presentation is not to impress the audience with our picture-taking prowess, but to excite each member to want to take this same trip or something like it. I will talk not only about what we saw, but the experience of traveling on a small boat with 8 other adventurers. I suspect the star of the images will be Strawberry, the female Spirit (Kermode) bear that we were lucky to see.
